On a brisk Sunday evening on December 21, 2015 more than 50 carolers joined together for Singing in the Streets sponsored by the Youth Ministry of St. Liborius. Parishioners from St. Pancratius, Fayetteville, St. Barbara’s Okawville, and St. Anthony’s Lively Grove joined St. Liborius parishioners as we all climbed aboard our Caroling Carriage donated by Eckert’s Orchards. We quickly fill the wagon to overflowing status and about 15 carolers followed behind on foot. Our caroling scouters rode ahead on four wheeler knocking on doors of community members to let them know we were heading their way. It was a lively evening and huddled together it was quiet an experience for young and old alike. Carolers enjoyed it so much they have already indicated they will be back next year with family and friends so to plan for 2 wagons! Now that’s a problem we can handle don’t you think?
